Scores submitted must be from WDASA Year End Award eligible show(s).
WDASA Year End Award eligible shows include:
ANY in-person show in Alberta in 2024 that offered WDAA OR WSDAC tests.
ANY Online show in 2024 that offered WDAA OR WSDAC tests.
Scores must be recorded on the 2024 Year End Award Application form and submitted no later than Dec 1st.
Scores must be from the same Horse/Rider combination.
Riders with more than 1 horse need to fill out a separate Year End Award Application form for each horse shown in 2024.
Riders must have been current WDASA members at the time of the show in order for the score to be eligible.
Minimum of 3 scores required for Highest Average awards. Scores can be a combination of in-person and or online shows. Can be from the same show.
Newcomer Award & High Score Overall only requires 1 score.
Dressage Seat Equitation Pattern Scores and Freestyle Scores are NOT Eligible for Year End Awards
2024 Year End Awards: Highest Average Per Level Champion & Reserve Champion, for each level. (Intro – Level 5) *Horse/Rider with the highest average from their top 3 submitted scores, per level.
Highest Average Overall Champion & Reserve Champion *Horse/Rider with the highest average from their top 3 submitted scores. Overall.
High Score Overall Champion & Reserve Champion *Horse/Rider's highest scored test across all Levels
Most Western Dressage Tests Completed Online *WDAA and/or WSDAC Tests
Most Western Dressage Tests Completed In-Person in Alberta *WDAA and/or WSDAC Tests
Western Dressage Newcomer Award Champion *Highest Individual Score. Open to riders who had never competed in any Western Dressage show prior to 2024. Horse may have competed previously, but not the rider.
